Not a nice design

My original was much better circa 2018. The day pack now has hooks to loop through the main pack. Difficult to do by feel. The hoop on the shoulder strap is too high up so you are bending your arms a long way to reach the loop or need assistance. The internal frame is also attached to the bag with hoops. These are outside the zipped area that means they have to be detached before being zipped up. The daypack is not lockable. The day pack has a red toggle that previously in a daypack was to close the area where the computer was stored. This now appears to redundant. A retailer told me it was for a water bladder, but the daypack has no holes for a tube to go out through the bag? Straps have gone down to 15mm. All these changes now mean you have messed up my whole travel set up as I have extenders made to fit 20mm buckles. All in all I will be looking elsewhere going forward. Now feels cheaper.

Great all-round bag.

I’m very particular about my kit, and this is a very welcome addition to my travel options. The day pack is a great addition and I’ve used the combination on 10 flights since taking delivery two weeks ago. The main backpack is super comfortable to wear and holds lots of kit due to the flexible size and compression straps. I would recommend this bag for frequent travellers when a trolley bag is cumbersome or too heavy.
