    Lightweight back pack

Used this pack for a 14 day hike. It was comfortable and kept my back dry. Good value for money.

I really love this pack. It's the second one I've used as I've only been backpacking for about 2 years. It is the perfect size to accommodate all of the things I need, but it's not so large that I over-pack. I've used it on weekend trips on the PCT, a 5-day trip in the Sierras and on a 4-day Rim-to-Rim Grand Canyon hike. I could fit a small Bear Cannister in the pack and my tent was on the outside of the pack for the 5-day trip. I am more of a minimalist when it comes to what I put in my pack, so some people might need a larger pack for longer hikes. Sometimes the chest strap feels too high, so I would like a lower option for that, but I am 5'4"", so that might not be a problem for someone who is taller. I've used the bladder reservoir as well and it works great. I haven't used it in the rain yet, but I don't forsee any problems. When the pack is heavier (30 lbs), I do feel soreness on my hips, but when I can keep it lighter (last trip 24 lbs) I have no soreness from using this pack. I also like that there aren't a lot of compartments so I'm only looking in a few places if I don't remember where I put something.

Purchased for use as an emergency go back. It's very spacious. Easy access from bottom zippered opening. Just the right amount of straps to keep everything in place and sturdy. Love the colour. Comes with rain cover.

Used this pack for the 6 day West Coast Trail hike and it performed well. I easily packed a tent, sleeping bag, 6 days of food and all other necessary gear into this pack.

This is my first backpacking backpack and I absolutely love it! Its super comfortable and has plenty of room to store all my gear. This is a great starting out pack. I bought it before I bought any of my other gear and it has accommodated everything I've bought wonderfully. I have already used this pack on a handful of trips and, as of right now, plan to take it on my thru hike of the Appalachian Trail next year.

I purchased this pack for my first multi-day hike in a long time. As I was basically upgrading all my gear at the same time for this trip I wanted to balance getting a quality pack with a reasonable price. And get a pack that wasn't too heavy but was durable. I also wasn't able to get into store to get the pack fitted so the adjustability if the Renn also suited me. The Renn was fantastic! Comfortable. Able to organise my gear well. Rain cover worked on our rainy day. Served me well over my 6 days /75 kilometres of the Tasmania Overland Track.

I love this bag and I’m excited to use it on many national park trips, my only issue is that it doesn’t sit quite right on me and I’m not very tall (5’3) with it on the largest torso adjustment there’s a part that digs into your shoulder, and one nook down it’s a bit too short for the weight to sit properly on my hips. Other than that it’s an awesome lightweight bag that’s on the cheaper side of backpacking packs

Chest straps on renn 65 backpack

Fits kind of tight if you have larger boobs I think I’ll need to wear a very tight fitting sports bra for it to be comfortable. Other than that I love it.
