The best multi-activity rucksack
Well designed, functional, durable and yet fairly light. I use this for mountain biking, day walks and occasionally for overnight treking. Ideal size especially as it can be synched in or out with the side straps. Reccomended.

High quality, functional pack

The Talon is a tried and true format for a day pack. The 33 is the biggest of its type but great for a long day in the hills where you need to bring multiple layers, food, first-aid, etc.

Very happy with my purchase. Very comfortable on all day hikes, breathable back so not too much sweating even in warm weather.

Improved on the best
My nine-year-old Talon 33 had seen me through some 2500 Km - it fitted better than a glove and brushed aside sun, downpours, frost, snow, hail (plus gorse and bogs) without complaint. Ultimately though age saw its straps begin to fail, and Osprey's All-Mighty Guarantee decreed that it should be replaced.
The revised Talon 33 has been with me now for a few weeks, and Osprey have worked magic where none seemed possible; it's perhaps a little larger - the back-length adjuster a little lighter and easier, side pockets a little easier to access. Where its predecessor was trouble-free to slide into, the shoulder straps now are a welcoming handshake. I'm still tinkering with minor adjustments, and finding tiny features where Osprey have applied a well-considered tweak.
Overall - brilliant!
