OSPREY Talon™ 33 Hiking Backpack

My nine-year-old Talon 33 had seen me through some 2500 Km - it fitted better than a glove and brushed aside sun, downpours, frost, snow, hail (plus gorse and bogs) without complaint. Ultimately though age saw its straps begin to fail, and Osprey's All-Mighty Guarantee decreed that it should be replaced. The revised Talon 33 has been with me now for a few weeks, and Osprey have worked magic where none seemed possible; it's perhaps a little larger - the back-length adjuster a little lighter and easier, side pockets a little easier to access. Where its predecessor was trouble-free to slide into, the shoulder straps now are a welcoming handshake. I'm still tinkering with minor adjustments, and finding tiny features where Osprey have applied a well-considered tweak. Overall - brilliant!

Lightweight, comfortable and all the pockets you could want. Very adjustable and functional. Backed up by the lifetime warranty. This bag is well worth the money. Highly recommend

My trusty Talon 33 had carried my gear for a decade in the Alps as well as the UK. Frankly it was worn and had seen better days. I sent it back to Osprey under their Mighty Guarantee scheme and was delighted when they said it was beyond economical repair and that they would send a replacement free of charge. What a great resonse. So my new Talon 33 is even better with some design improvements over the last model. I am of course delighted and even more keen on Osprey than before.
