    Great Gear for me

I bought a pair of these about 15 years ago to film a sled dog race in Greenville, Maine. I’m heading back there this February for another shoot, and I’ve geared up with them again during my prep—they’re still just as good as they were when I first bought them. I use them with an old-school cross-country ski setup and for snowshoeing to filming locations, plus general winter recreation. I’m not an extreme mountaineer or daily user, but in my opinion they’re an excellent product when you need them. I’ve also learned that gaiters make a noticeable difference in keeping your legs and feet warmer in cold conditions. With heavy, frequent use they probably would have worn out by now, but the build quality and design have held up remarkably well over the years. Thanks OR !

I love these gaiters. I make snow in the winter and my boots would constantly be soaked without them. Whether it’s snow or slush up to my knees, the crocodiles keep me comfortable and dry. My pair is size medium and they fit over size 10 scarpa fuegos and carhartt Yukon bibs just right.

I've worn these on several hunts from deep single digits and deep snow to upper 90's and extreme heat. They've performed flawlessly. Once they're properly set up and adjusted, it's hard to notice them. They fit true to size/slightly small. The medium fits well and snug over a 10.5 mountain hunting boot (Kenetrek, Zamberlan). The strap is durable, the velcro is robust, the strap and cam at the top works well and they've been incredibly durable. They are obviously other styles and brands on the market, but I truly feel that these are pretty tough to beat.

These Gators work very well. Waterproof. I don't hike or hunt without them.

I've had various sets of crododiles over the years. The last couple sets, including purchased and warranty replacements have had durability issues compared to my older ones. The velcro tabs and top buckles don't seem as good as they were 10 or 15 years ago. I'm hoping this new ones have better velcro. Still, the design of these is superior to others my friends have tried.

Generally a fan of OR. These gaiters have design flaws. Just wire them on the EBC trek. Lace hook is on the wrong flap and top closure is flimsy and doesn’t stay closed and / or tight. Materials and durability are good. They also run big (maybe plastic boot sized). I know have 2 pairs, 1 that’s 2 big and my last minute purchase before trip. Looks like new version might have fixed these issues. Wish they were available 6 months ago.

Sizing is not accurate. With all sales being final, I have a useless pair of too large gaiters :-(
