    Could use a couple features

Shorts work well for mountain biking. The fabric is pretty light which is nice as I live in Utah and it is often hot here. I like that there are no back pockets to interfere with bike seat and the little zipper pocket works well enough. However, I would like some sort of belt-less tightening feature.

I like the simplicity and the stretch. I bought them to mountain bike as I prefer the regular front and zip pockets and ability to wear a belt that some bike-specific pants don't offer. The extra star would have been earned if the pants simply also had back pockets. Why are clothiers steering away from that very inexpensive convenience (store gloves, wallet, etc)?

I picked these up (2 pair) for a road trip through several national parks. The long inseam is incredible as I'm 6'5". They were amazing. Light, flexible, durable. They made my trip hassle free and comfy, even on 12 hour drives.

Great shorts for casual or active wear. I normally wear a 32 but ordered a 31 based on reviews and the fit is perfect without the need for a belt.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

After close to ten years, finally needing to replace two pair of these shorts-waist button popped off one pair and side pocket seam failed on the other. Really disappointed to see they no longer have back pockets. Why would you remove the back pockets?

These are my favorite shorts. Great for biking, rafting, and most everything else I do all summer long. The material takes a beating, and they dry fairly quickly. The pocket design keeps my wallet out of the way yet accessible.

Extremely light weight. The stretchy water resistant material is awesome and they look very nice. Great shorts, I wear them often.

I love this version of the Ferrosi shorts. I have spent far too much time and money trying to find shorts that met my expectations. These are durable, fit well, and are made of material that is light and stretchy. I don't overheat in these and they don't seem to constrict my movement. My only request would be for rear pockets and maybe another belt loop or two, but I understand why the pockets were left off this version as well. Overall, these are great quality shorts. I own several pair in different colors and they are always the first shorts I reach for when I have a choice.
