Love the rain jacket. On year 2.5 of ownership and still holds up in the Pacific Northwest rain with no issues. I do take care of my gear with Nikwax wash products, so that may help the repellency. The contrasting colors is great, instead of an all black jacket. Velcro on cuffs, zippers, all in working order. Only wish the sleeves were cut slightly shorter.

Overall I think it's a solid rain jacket for the price. It doesn't stuff into its own pocket well, and there's nothing to hang the jacket on at the neckline. You can only hang it by the hood! I like the big pockets and the waterproofing works well in light rain. I wouldn't necessarily trust it for hours in a downpour.

Nice jacket, keeps you dry under decent rain. After a while can get humid, but only under heavy rain. I recommend this for hiking or outdoor shooting range.

True to size, this jacket is very light weight and compact. It folds into a pocket and is easy to pack and carry around. Comfortable to wear. I haven't had an opportunity to wear it in a heavy rain yet, but blocks the wind and performed well in light showers. Good value for the money.

Ordered an xl as previous jackets from OR fit perfect but for some reason this rain jacket fits very large especially in the waist and chest.

Have not worn in a heavy rain as of yet, however, performs excellent in light rain. Size was a bit smaller than expected, so I would suggest ordering a size larger for a looser fit if you are not a fan of fitted jackets.

I purchased the jacket primarily for trail running, mountain biking, and adventure travel. Additionally, I'm always looking for a coat that will work casually as well (so I don't have to pack extra stuff!). I really like the fit and appearance of this jacket. It's comfy, seems to breath well, and is of course water resistant - I haven't gotten wet, yet! My one improvement would be the stops at the bottom of the zipper. They catch and I have a hard time opening the jacket. On more than one occasion I've had to just pull it over by head - which sucks when you're running or have a pack on. Could just be mine, who knows. If the stops didn't catch, I'd go 5 star for sure.

Great rain jacket. Simple. Has all the good features of a rain jacket. Draw string at the waist and hood, velcro at the wrist cuffs, arm pit zippers, and pockets. Can't ask for more. Bought it for construction, kept me pretty dry on a big wet day. Great for walking the dogs. It's a bit hot, but what rain jacket isn't really.
