Outdoor Research Men's Goldbar Pants

I have been wearing these pants for over two years now, and they have been some of my go to pants when I have the options. They went well with my uniform when I worked at Cabela's and would be comfortable the whole shift. I wear them still when I need to look good for work at my current job. My only issue is, I have now worn them enough to start wearing portions of them thin, mainly around the crotch area and just below the belt line on the rear. The belt loops are starting to let loose a little too. But that just means they've been well loved.

No more awkwardly jamming your hands down the front of your pants; these pockets are designed for maximum convenience, making your hiking experience even more enjoyable. I've been wearing these bad boys pretty heavily for a few weeks, and they've stood up to the challenge like a champ. They fit like your favorite pair of jeans-yes, even those vintage ones you won't throw out-and they have just enough stretch to let you scamper over rocks or log hop across streams without feeling like you're trapped in a denim straightjacket. Their durability is a testament to their quality, giving you the confidence to tackle any terrain. Now, they're not without their quirks. The waistband doesn't stretch as much as the rest of the pants. It remains snug, which means while the rest of you is flexing and stretching on that tough climb, the waistband is there to remind you, "I'm not going anywhere!" A reminder to keep those trail snacks in check isn't necessarily a bad thing, right? These jeans fit perfectly, they have the perfect amount of stretch while also feeling sturdy. I was surprised with the quality of the build, the little details like the reinforced cuff and the cell phone pocket really make these stand out. I ordered another pair after wearing these one some outings, highly recommend.

OR knocked it out of the park with these pants. They're a thicker material (think Carhartt/jeans thickness) with some stretch. The material is very comfortable and I wear these nearly everyday when working from home (I liked my first pair so much I bought two more pairs). The pants don't breathe well but are great for casual use. You could likely use these for light hiking and maybe some climbing but they'll get swampy if it's warm out. These can be dressed up a bit but the cut is straight and definitely looks like a "work" pant. I'm not easy on gear and these have held up quite well so far. They collect oil more than other pants and get stained easily which is my only qualm. The DWR seems to work decently well but they'll get soaked and stay wet a while (they are cotton after all). I have decent sized legs and generally wear a 32 x 32 or a 33 x 32 if the pants are cut small in the butt. The 32 x 32 fits great in these. They're a bit tight when new but wear in really well within the first week or two. Run them through the dryer for that satisfying "new pants" feel.
