Constructed with Outdoor Research's proprietary Diamond Fuse™ technology, these fully seam-taped pants provide waterproof, windproof and breathable performance for hiking, climbing and urban adventures.

Elastic waistband with drawcord and gripper tape allows a customized, secure fit.
Reflective Outdoor Research logo enhances visibility and safety in low light conditions.
Crotch gusset provides unrestricted mobility and prevents ripping.
Back pocket doubles as a compact stuff sack for easy storage and portability.
Ankle zippers enable easy on/off over boots and shoes.
Elastic cuffs with gripper tape and lace loops prevent pant legs from riding up.

perfect rain pants

it would be perfect if it ran a bit larger would appreciate more room as I'm a taller guy 6'3 and with a linebacker build it fits snuggly in a few on my quads and thighs but overall great pants

A Classic that Keeps Working

I ordered the pants and jacket to replace some old faithful ones that have been reliable for years. I've always been happy with the Helium line for backpacking. Although I wouldn't call them super durable thats not really what they are meant for. I use them as the lightweight layer to keep rain off on the occasional rain during backpacking trips or light rain.

Great lightweight rain paints - do what they are intended to do. And a great warranty, as my seams split after 4 years of good usage, and OR completely warrantied them

Same material as the Helium Rain Jacket. Sizing is perfect. Keeps me dry for short periods of time. Don't expect these to keep you dry all day! They work for an hour or so then wet through, but that's expected. These are excellent for through hiking when weight means everything!

Helium pant

Bought these to add to my biking/ hiking pack. Been carrying the jacket around for years and has been great during bouts of rain on the trail . The pants will complete the kit . I sized up so I could wear over my hiking pants and they fit great. Expect to get many years from these pants if the jacket is any indication.They both pack down incredibly small and are a great piece of kit.
