Ultralight, functional, and stylish!

This quickly became a staple of my backpacking kit. It's excellent for wind and sun protection. It packs down to take up very little space, weighs next to nothing, and has a nice amount of stretch. Love the fact that it has pockets with zippers, eliminating those would've been a bad way to save weight. I recently wore it on a 4 day summer backpacking trip when I needed sun and wind protection and it worked perfectly. Dries quickly as well. I found the sizing to be accurate, I'm 5'9", 175 with a 42" chest, so slightly short with a big chest and shorter arms. I purchased a size Large because I like a little room in the torso for ventilation and mobility. It fit very well, doesn't look sloppy and the arms aren't ridiculously long for me.

Another dope OR product

6'0", 175lb, 32" waist. This and the Odyssey shorts are my uniform this summer. I wear this jacket while touring on Mt Baker, running to PCC, or lapping Green Lake with my dog. I'll layer this with a tech fleece when it's colder or run it by itself for temps from 50-80. Can't emphasize how much I love this thing. Size L fits perfect--slightly baggy but trim.

Perfectly balanced

Let’s enough wind through to be breathable, warmer than wearing short sleeves. Not water super resistant but it’s not really trying to be. Been using a bunch for mtb. Packs small into its own pocket

Comfortable from Maine to Costa Rica

This jacket is a light, packable, and comfortable. Perfect for warm weather adventures that just need a little extra layer to block the wind. It packs down into a small pouch that can be tossed in your pack or beach bag for that "ace in the hole" when needed. Unlike many competing brands, this jacket is made of a very soft material and does not have the crinkle feeling like you are putting on a trash bag. Also unique to this jacket compared to it's competitor's is that it has front handwarmer pockets as well as a chest pocket (most packable options do not). The pockets in my opinion bring it from just being a quick grab backup plan to an intentionally worn and functional jacket. The chest pocket is a great spot to quickly store your cell phone and the front hand pockets give you that sensation like you just put on your favorite hoodie sweatshirt. I have worn it while hiking mountains during the summer in Maine to hanging out on the beach in Costa Rica on a windy day.

Well executed wind shell

This jacket is extremely comfortable. I'm 5'6" with broad shoulders and a more or less triangular shape (not a body builder by any stretch, though). The medium fits me perfectly with room to layer. I expect it's long enough for taller people, too. It breaths well, provides good wind protection, and a small amount of protection from precipitation. The first time I tried running in this jacket, the hood flopped annoyingly into my field of view. I have since discovered that you can just fold the brim back once or twice to tighten up the fit. This may look a little wonky, but it works beautifully, and it's the only option, since there's no drawstring adjustment on the hood. It's very nice to have hand-warmer pockets, which many wind shells omit.

Great super light weight windbreaker

I bought this to try out in spring/summer in Washington and it is fantastic. It's super light weight but does a great job at blocking the wind and light rain. The fit is trim but not overly loose (I got a large with a 41" chest, 6', 188 lbs). It has quickly become my go to windbreaker and has replaced my Arc'teryx Squamish hoody. Definitely worth the buy!
ProsGood Size/Fit, Lightweight, Windproof

Yes, I recommend this product.

Windshell with stretch breathability. You can leave it on.

I am an OR employee and have used prototype versions of this jacket over the past couple years. The fabric works very well at giving both wind and light weather protection AND breathability and stretch. For running, mountain biking and as an "up-hill jacket" for backcountry ski touring it is amazing because it adds warmth in cool and cold temps, but breathes enough to prevent overheating so much better than traditional windshells. And it is ultralight and highly packable. Best of all worlds. (It does not replace a rain jacket though. It is water resistant, but far from waterproof.)
