I’ve now used these gloves in freezing winds, rain, and snow. They’re pretty warm, maintain decent movement, and cut a lot of wind. The liner and stitching on the outside of the fingers can feel odd if you don’t get it all situated just right. They’re not waterproof but they are pretty resistant before wetting. Overall a pretty solid cold weather glove as long as you’re still moving.

I personally had no trouble with my hands fitting but experience obviously differs per person to person but if you have a small hand with the width roughly 12cm, small size should fit you (did quick measure from bottom of your pinky to about mid section of thumb, obviously not the right measuring method tho).

I really like these gloves, as they are a good bit less bulky than ski gloves but give a little bit more wind/water resistance than my wool or fleece gloves. A great middle ground. They are very comfortable and well-made. They seem to be sufficiently warm, but I live in an area with very moderate winters and have not really pushed them to their limits.

Used on a hunting trip and they kept my hands warm and dry without losing all finger dexterity. Wore them for multiple weeks and they held up great.

I bought these for everyday wear in 30-50 degree weather of all sorts and they do not disappoint. Some of the best general purpose gloves daily use gloves I have ever had for keeping my hands warm. I have a whole collection of gloves, including others from OR, that do not meet that goal. I suspect that those reviewers that find fault with warmth or wind resistance simply did not get the right fit for their particular hand shape. These gloves are water-resistant (not proof) for up to two hours and did allow me to check my phone but just barely, so keep those expectations reasonable. They are comfortable and let me work outside for a long time with comfortably warm and flexible hands. Buying more so I can clean the non-performers out.
