Outdoor Research Men's Windwarrior Hat

The Outdoor Research Wind Warrior Hat is fantastic. It’s super warm and really does a great job of stopping the wind, even on the coldest, windiest days. I wore it hiking, camping, and just around town, and it kept me comfortable the whole time. The fit is snug without being tight, and it feels well-made and durable. Definitely a must-have for anyone spending time outdoors in cold weather.

The Wind Warrior is a Sleek Fitting, Warm and Comfortable piece of Headwear that is extremely versatile. You can wear it out doing any activity and it will be functional and modern and stylish for whatever and wherever you go that requires a Warm and Protective piece of Headwear. I wear it to go out for Winter's walk or to shovel the Driveway or to Head out for a Cross Country Ski or Snowshoe or for Winter and Cold Weather Cycling as it fits well under any helmet. Great for those Long Snow Falling and blowing stormy days where you need to block out the wind and cold and wet white stuff. Resists moisture and if you get it wet from rain or perspiration it does dry very quickly. You name it and the Wind Warrior with its Gore-Tex Windstopper Fabric protects from the Cold Weather and fiercely Cold Winds that Winter often throws at us. I wear it all the time. Just got back from a trip to Utqiagvik (Barrow) and loved it in the wind and on the snow machines. Good cover over the ears.

Versatile hat. L/XL is a little big for me, but can use it over a thinner beanie when I hike in the the cold an wind. Have also used it when snowblowing to keep the blowing snow off my head. The extra coverage works well for that use.

At first I purchased the L/XL, and that hat size was way to big for my head. I returned it, I purchased the S/M size, and the S/M hat fit my head perfectly. My head circumference is 22.5 inches. It's really well made, and it feels good on the head.

Does everything announced. The only comment is about size: only 2 small+medium and large+extra large. Tried the large and it was too large, although I use large for everything. The small+medium fits perfectly.

Love this hat. No matter the wind or the cold, my head and ears are always warm and toasty. Extremely effective at doing what is advertised.

Great hat runs a bit smaller than the old ones.
