Armpits are very tight, while rest fit normal

The material was shoved all the way up my armpits. I am a true medium, meaning never had an issue with OR products (5 foot 7 and ~135lbs). I felt like the material under my armpits was crazyyy tight and constricting. The rest of the jacket fit me perfectly though?? So disappointed. The jacket color is gorgeous and jacket is high quality. I own an OR rain jacket that I love and was so excited about this jacket but had to return. My partner got the men's Medium, and that fit me better than this with zero armpit issue, but it's a bit longer and falls weird length on my thighs so probably won't buy the men's for myself either.

5'11 / 160lbs I usually wear a medium but purchased a large because I was pregnant. Wore it well into my 3rd trimester. Now it's a little on the big side for me but good for layering. I'd get a medium now. It's warm, but not too warm - I wear it everywhere from chilly walks to my desk in the office. I love the textured shoulders and chest. It's well made. Just an all-around great down jacket.

Fits great and I especially love the baffled hood and big pockets. Kept me warm and dry in the backcountry in BC, Banff, and Montana. Too heavy to hike in for me but was great for chilly summits or after the sun set. Also packs down small and is pretty lightweight especially considering the fill and how warm it is.

I already have this jacket in the amethyst color. My all time favorite for being warm (800+ down insulation!), comfy and water resistant shoulders/hood. I saw the yellow color and knew I needed that one too! The fit on this jacket is perfect all over!

This is my everyday jacket for outdoors and commuting - anything! It is warm and I like the shoulder protection from wet New England winter weather.

This jacket is warm and well sized to layer. It's a great product for what it is intended for. The fabric lined pockets are especially cozy! However, it is slightly heavier and bulkier that I'd prefer, for long approaches and multi pitch belays. I'm also concerned that the pocket it packs into will become damaged or wear faster due to the soft fabric that is external when packed away.

I work in the mountains and this jacket is perfect for a lightweight layer.

For how much down jackets go these day, this is a friendly on the wallet option. I flirted with returning early on for the following reasons: 1. I wasn't sure I loved the fit. I'm fairly straight from shoulder to hips, so sometimes the shaping they put into women's jackets gives me unwanted flare. I ultimately decided it was OK. 2. It was a bit less toasty than I anticipated, but it advertises as a mid-weight, and with a fleece/baselayer its proven to be just fine for winter and means it lasts longer into shoulder seasons. 3. The shine. The fabric has a bit more shine and synthetic feel to it than I prefer. Its broken in a bit, so the feel is not so..swishy/crunchy. Just not my favorite. I do really like the two-tone style of it, and that the hood/shoulders have a bit extra waterproofing. It's become my around town jacket, so I can't speak too much to the durability. Early after arriving some threads came loose on the sleeve, which had me concerned, but since trimming I haven't had any issues.
