The Petzl Nomic Ice Tool sets the standard for ice climbing. Perfectly balanced and equipped with weights, it provides an exceptional swing. Its PUR’ICE pick allows efficient placement in a variety of types of ice. The shape and double handle offer multiple grip modes, as well as stable hand switching. The grip is comfortable, with an ergonomic handle and adjustable GRIPREST handrest. Featuring a minimalist hammer, the head is protected and allows the user to hammer a piton back in. Entirely modular, the ice axe can be optimized according to the terrain.
The PUR'ICE pick features a tapered 3mm tip for excellent penetration in different ice types, including hard ice, and a toothed stainless steel point for stable piolet-canne mode support
MASSELOTTES weights optimize inertia and striking power for an exceptional swing balance
The ergonomic handle with GRIPREST adjustable handrest provides a comfortable, secure grip and enables multiple hand placements
