These seem like great clubs to me.

There's nothing wrong with these clubs. I bought last year's model of these. I read a ton of reviews first and found that some people had some defective clubs that broke or came apart. I decided to take a chance anyway because I didn't want to spend a cent more. As long as these clubs don't fall apart, they're awesome. Last year I was terrible and dented the bottom of my driver from an awful swing, but it didn'taffect the club face. This year I can drive as much as 300 yards with this cheapass driver and I'm a small guy. How do I know? Well, when you drive a ball from the very back of a tee box to the left center of the green and the hole is marked as 300 yards, it's obvious. I'm going to upgrade to a Taylormade driver as a reward for curing my awful slice, but everything already in the bag is going to stay there. The irons and putter seem good to me. It's not hard for me to get 175 yards out of the 5 iron. The putter is designed for easily scooping the ball out of the cup. I'll be using the Powerbilt driver at the range to better hone my accuracy, as the Taylormade is supposed to be more forgiving, though I'll often be comparing them. Maybe I'll discover that these performance drivers aren't that much better than one that comes with a cheap set. Who knows? All I know is that if you're willing to risk the chance of getting a defective set, these clubs are fine. I had to swing absolute trash 30 years ago compared to these.
