It’s not heavy at all, which is a lifesaver because he’ll actually keep it on instead of trying to take it off five minutes later. The fit is perfect, secure but still comfortable, and he’s been showing it off to everyone. If your kid is picky about how things feel on their head, this one is definitely worth considering. Covered his whole head.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It fit both my 4 year olds and my 8 year olds head pretty well. I love the blue color, and so did my 8 year old. It has a good amount of padding to absorb the impact. I tossed a baseball at my son purposefully for him to get it to hit him in the head with the helmet on, and it didn’t affect him at all. Granted I wasnt throwing it hard right at his head or anything, just tossing it up enough to come down and hit the helmet. Seems well made and like it will last awhile!

Great Helmet for Active Players!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Rawlings Youth Coolflo Batting Helmet for my 11-year-old son, and he absolutely loves it! The fit is perfect snug enough to stay in place when he’s running the bases but still really comfortable. He says it feels lightweight, and the ventilation keeps him cool even on hot game days.
From a parent’s perspective, I’m so impressed with the quality and durability. The helmet feels sturdy and well built. I can already tell it’s going to last for multiple seasons, and I’ll easily be able to pass it down to my younger son when the time comes.
Overall, this helmet is the perfect mix of safety, comfort, and long-lasting value. Definitely a great choice for any young baseball player!
