It also did not make him sweat a lot,it was really breathable. Overall, he enjoyed the helmet and will keep using it every game.

It has enough padding that it fits multiple sizes so we shared with teammates Love the matte blue, makes looking good on the field easy.

This is a great quality product. You cannot go wrong with a Rawlings helmet. The only thing I will say is that the helmet is quite a bit smaller than I expected. In my view this helmet is designed mostly for t-ball and early baseball playing years (maybe ages 5-7). I think by age 8 or 9, you are going to find that this helmet fits tight on your child. And yes, it would be better if it came with a strap, which it should given that there are buttons for a strap on the helmet.
