It also did not make him sweat a lot,it was really breathable. Overall, he enjoyed the helmet and will keep using it every game.

It has enough padding that it fits multiple sizes so we shared with teammates Love the matte blue, makes looking good on the field easy.

Got this for my son, fortunately he hasn't taken a ball or bat to the head yet so I can't speak to how effective it actually is. But I've always found Rawlings products to be good quality. I like the matte black finish on this and the inside padding is nice & thick so I'm pretty confident it will do what its intended to do. I also like how easy it is to add a jaw guard to this helmet, which as someone who is half way through paying for braces, is a nice extra little insurance policy to help protect his face.

Bought this helmet for my grandson and it fit perfect and he loved it.

Very good quality batting helmet. I have a large head (size 59 or 7 1/4 cap size) and this is able to fit snugly. Very good value for price!
