Elastic waistband on a boardshort? Terrible.

Boardshort with elastic back?! Terrible choice. Ordered this suit for my son, thinking it was a boardshort, which it basically is, but with an elastic back so there is no way to keep them on. Suits with elastic need an actual drawstring, not a fake one like this suit, OR be an actual boardshort whouOUT elastic back. Basically there is no way to keep this suit ON in the water. Maybe okay for dry land, but a wet elastic waistband swimsuit? Bad idea.
