Great fit and features

I was a little worried about the length as I am 5’10 but they fit great with winter boots. There is a loop and snap on the bottom for shorter people. I really love the velcro adjustable waistband also as I have bigger hips and smaller waist. I won’t live in extreme cold weather, so I can’t comment on how well they will do for that. But for Kelowna winters and wet weather they’re perfect!

They do not help retain heat.

They do not help retain heat. They cut the wind but did not keep my legs warm even during a 10 minute walk in moderate Manitoba winter temperatures.
