Great color, but no adjustable waist.

Ordered online, unfortunately returned the next day. I liked the length, liked the double zipper, and loved the material and color. THERE IS NO ADJUSTABLE WAIST. For all yaletown ripzone jackets, sportchek says they have an adjustable hem or waist. Not one of them actually does. I know because I looked at the other colors in store recently. I was hoping this one would have the adjustable waist like it says in the description. It does not. I’m an XS in tops and small in bottoms. I ordered this in XS as small was sold out. But the waist area was still too big. Otherwise the coat fit me well. But it was also a bit sheer.

Looks very nice and fits very well

This raincoat is well made, fits well and is true to size. I find far too many women’s coats and jackets too tight in thee hips but this one isn’t. It also has a zipper you can open from the bottom which many coats DON’T have. (It’s very inconvenient when they don’t.) The hood fits well and doesn’t droop down over my face. It also has a little peak to help keep raindrops off my face. I’m also pleased with the zipper pockets. The price was reasonable and I loved finding a coat made AND sold by Canadian companies. My only wish would have been a vent on the upper back for additionally breath ability.
However, I haven’t yet used it in the rain so I can’t comment on how waterproof and breathable it actually is. I’ll try to remember to update this review after I use my new coat. I’ll give it five stars if it is truly waterproof and breathable.
