Love the color combo of the skates. For better insole support you might want to insert your own as there is hardly any out of the box. The wheel bearings probably require some wear in for better performance. Mine hardly turn and required a little loosing up of the bolts. Top buckles doesn't provide enough support if you have small ankles.

I wouldn’t normally bother leaving a review, but since Sport Chek reached out asking about my shopping experience, I feel it’s important to be honest. I was genuinely excited to get back into rollerblading. I was part of the first wave in the 90s, so this purchase felt nostalgic and something I had really been looking forward to. Unfortunately, that excitement disappeared as soon as I opened the box. The skates were advertised and purchased as new. Yes, they were on sale — but a sale price does not automatically mean you’re buying someone else’s handed-down rollerblades. If I wanted used skates, I would have gone to a thrift store. What I received was clearly used. Not “tried on once indoors” used — there was visible dirt buildup underneath the boots and on the wheels. These had obviously been worn outside. This was not minor cosmetic wear; they had been used to a noticeable extent. When you pay for a new product, even on sale, you expect a new product. Receiving used merchandise without disclosure is unacceptable and extremely disappointing. Because of this experience, I can’t recommend ordering online if product condition can’t be trusted.
