Great value

Great value for classic recreational xc skiing. Bought these for our growing 12yo and the zip-up cover that goes over the laces makes shoving messy laces more snow-friendly. Unsure of quality longevity as we only ski prob less than 10 times for the year. Buying 2nd hand is no cheaper than these for the value. He has no complaints. Shipping free too. Awesome buy.

Made to fall apart after two seasons

They are built to disintegrate. The metal bars out front completely wore through after two seasons. I had my last pair of boots for 30 years! The boots are otherwise like new and would be great...if I could use them. Like many companies Rossignol claims to have a commitment to sustainability, but it's more like a sustained commitment to planned obsolescence. There are many similar reviews out there of Rossignol boots falling apart after one to two years. Most of the positive reviews are from people who have only used the boots a few times. What a waste.

They are built to disintegrate. What a waste. I expected a lot more from Rossignol. My last pair of boots lasted more than 30 years! The connecting bars out front completely wore through after two seasons. The boots are otherwise like new and would be great...if I could use them. Very disappointed.

These boots look good and my son likes how they feel. Modern NNN binding. Easy online ordering and quick delivery.
Misadvertised a bit though in description "thermo adjustable liners can be heat molded around your feet". I brought boots into a store and told by employees that boot liners could not be heat molded and store doesn't carry equipment.

These boots were purchased as a replacement for 15 year-old "Madshus" that broke (sole plate) in a fall.
I was pleasantly surprised at the overall fit & comfort level and the ease of foot entry and exit from the partially unlaced boot.
The Rossignol XC2 seems well-designed and constructed and an excellent value for the price.
My SportCheck online order was placed Saturday afternoon and the package arrived at my door the following Tuesday morning (Free Delivery).

Good boot for the dollar value!

A good boot to start with, the design keeps your foot and ankle out of the snow, unlike a shorter boot. Good for classic XC and trailbreaking. Seems to be supportive during skate sessions.
