    Super comfortable and great for hydration

    This holds two 500 mL flasks as well as a bladder in the back (which I have not used yet), and so far this was an incredibly comfortable vest that stays locked down. Mostly used during the summer, but I purchase one the size that give me just a little bit of wiggle room to be able to wear a windbreaker over it for the colder and precipitous months.

    Ended up purchasing this locally. I usually wear a Large for relax fit tops (170 lbs, 6'1", 42 chest), so I thought the large would be perfect. Tried this and the medium on multiple times. I will say, that the large is perfect, and it allows just enough wiggle room to be able to have that same comfort with something over my base layer. That being said, the straps are easy to adjustment and they stay adjusted. I haven't noticed any chafing. Overall great!

    Love the adv skin 5. Extremely light and comfortable, without any chafing. Plenty of space for my camelback, phone, gels, extras. I feel so much safer and prepared during long runs.

    Comfortable Running Vest for Long Runs

    I recently started using the Salomon ADV Skin 5 as my first running vest, mainly for outdoor long runs. So far, it has made carrying water and fuel much more convenient compared with planning stops or running without hydration. The vest feels compact and stays close to the body while running. It provides enough space for water, gels, a phone, keys, and a few other essentials without feeling excessively bulky. The front pockets are easy to access during a run, which is especially useful when taking water or nutrition without having to stop. I used it during a longer outdoor run in strong morning sun, and having hydration readily available was definitely helpful. The vest capacity feels appropriate for regular training runs and half-marathon preparation. It offers enough storage for the essentials while still feeling more like running gear than a backpack. Though this is my first running vest, it felt great right from get go, it felt secure and did not interfere with my running movement. Overall, my experience with the Salomon ADV Skin 5 has been positive. It is comfortable, practical, and particularly useful for runners beginning to increase their outdoor mileage. I would recommend it for long runs, warm-weather training, and situations where frequent access to hydration and fuel is important.

    I bought this running vest for my longer runs and so far it has been amazing! It is really comfortable and doesn't bounce. My phone fits perfectly in the pocket. My plan is to wear it on my next Spartan Race.

    Great vest - very comfortable. I started to get chafing with my Osprey vest on longer runs and decided to try out the Advanced Skin 5 after doing some research. My only complaint so far is that the water bottles that came with the pack leak through the top lid a LOT. I'm planning to get a bladder as I'm not a huge fan of carrying the bottles in the front anyways, but it's a bit disappointing. I'll try adding a gasket to the bottle lids in the meantime.
