Salomon Escape 6 Skin Nordic Skis

I really love my boots and skis But I wish I had other bindings - the ones that click on and use ski poles to open I’m really having a hard time putting on and taking off boots. I have to bend over to click them on and off

Salomon Escape 6 Skin Nordic Skis 2020/21 & PLC Access Bindings Great deal for beginner at least. First time x-country skiing so had no comparison but they did the job and endured the season. Asked at the pro shop and did not need to have them serviced or fitted before use. Will need to now as the yellow pads on bottom wore off after about 4 wears. Would recommend.

Snagging skin skis during a pandemic when everyone seemed to be buying skis was going to be impossible.. then Sport Check restocked these. I adore them. Coming from wax skis, these are the bees knees. They even moved well through fresh/heavy/wet snow, when snow was even sticking to fish scale style skis. I highly suggest these for the price point and quality. Only minor complaint: I'm not a huge fan of the binding style, but this is the only minor thing. Plus for the price point having bindings included at all felt like a steal.

Great skis for the money. Good glide and grip as is, no maintenance needed. Be careful with the bindings, pretty light plastic, don't force it closed, when the boot drops in right it clicks shut nicely.

you have to lean down to press the bindings on with your hands to put on/ take off your skis. I have used these once and was happy with them, I cannot yet speak to the longevity of the skins. I still had to penguin-walk up steep hills, but i think that is normal to have to do even with skins. I am a novice cross country skier.
