bad fit - run small

boot itself looks nice and I prefer the BOA system for my kids as it is easy to use and durable but the sizing on this runs small against a standard chart mondo 24.5 = 6.5 mens or 7.5 womens. I wear a size 7 boot/shoe and my toe is totally cramped in this boot. My 11 y/o son just grew into a size 6 boot/shoe and he said these are tight on both his heel and his toes. I will never buy a .88 (clearance) item again with the assumption fit will be good. Can't return them because they were final sale
