I love these shoes. I have the previous version of the Aplhacross and I’ve had them for 2 years now. They’re worn but holding on. Obviously I had to get the new version. Great shoes, comfortable fit and overall superb quality. I can’t say

Narrow fit

These fit narrow. I like that they have real laces and not the little string that so many of the Salomon have these days. Have been wearing Salomon hikers for years. I had to return these and no struggling to find another brand that will work for me.

Keeps My Feet Dry

The purpose for my purchase was to keep my feet dry while walking the dogs. We get plenty of rain and humidity in Houston and I take my dogs by a bayou. Nothing worse than wet socks, but this is my second pair and no wet socks! Perfect for my need and comfortable to boot.

Usually love our Salomons but the sole is showing damage and my son has hardly had the shoes for 2 months.

Alternate to hiking shoe

Bought them as an alternative to a hiking shoe (light and waterproof). So far so good on short walks and riding the bike. Will see how they fair for comfort on a day long hike.
