Very Disappointing Pair of Shorts

I really wanted to like these shorts. I purchased them along with an S Lab singlet to race a marathon in. The singlet is great, but these shorts are really bad. My issues:
1. The leg of the short bunches up and stays up. Not a huge issue on its own, but every so often you have to pull it down. They're already pretty small/revealing.
2. The waist band rolls over on itself and is quite strange. Again, not a huge issue on its own, but I have to fiddle with this while running to flatten it out.
3. This is by far the biggest issue and will prevent me from ever racing or doing a long run in these shorts. If you put anything in the side pocket (like a gel or two) it flaps up and down, so much so that I found it hitting the side of my stomach. Absolutely intolerable during a hard effort.
These are my most expensive shorts and probably my worst pair overall. Salomon needs to test their products better IMO. Do not recommend these, but I see potential because the fabric is excellent.
