Salomon Men's Speedcross 6 GORE-TEX Comfortable Waterproof Trail Running Shoes

There's something that's changed in the fabric on the inside of the heel cup for both the regular and the GTX shoe. The durability has decreased dramatically. I buy 3 pair every 4 months, rotate regularly. I run every day, often more than once a day, and have been doing so for >7 years. This sneaker is my always (since the SC4), and I can tell that something's changed such that the milage has dropped by about 25-30% (used to be 300-350 miles before heel cup damage and often the tread would degrade first), now I'm seeing heel cup on different colors/styles within the first month.

Salomon has the best adventures shoes and this one is no exception! I tried every famous brand but Salomon is in a whole another level! Speedcross was fantastic and met my expectations.

I have used them as hunting shoes lightweight and great tread for the back country kept my feet dry done over 50 miles in them. Let me tell you I will never go back to standard hunting boots again !!!!

As typical with all 35 pairs of Salomon trail shoes I’ve worn over the past 20 plus years, no break in required!!. Just put them on and start racking up the miles.

I have bought multiple pairs of these shoes, and I absolutely love them. I wear them every day. They are comfortable and fit perfect. I love the color options, especially this color.

I am now unable to use any other shoe as my daily driver. With this thing I don't have to worry about snow, puddles, or mud. If I need to go hike a hill or run a trail at any time, I'm ready to go. My feet stay clean in dust. This is my shoe until they stop making it.
