Dude I bought the supercross gtx back in Jan. of 2020, I hike approximately 20 miles a week, they started to wear down last year (2025), mainly at the outer top creases and inside heal area. I was bummed, I loved those shoes.. So this year I decided to get a new pair of the same model, however they have been updated to the, "speedcross 6 gtx" and they are fnckin' awesome! Superb comfort with a fantastic trail grippin' tread. The best hiking/trail shoe.

The best waterproof runners I've owned

I've been really impressed with these shoes. They've been the best waterproof runners I've owned. In my experience, waterproof shoes from other brand separate between the upper and the sole, but that hasn't been an issue here. They've been rock solid, and I love the look. We had a mild wet winter here so I ended up wearing them around town more than I expected. With wear on pavement/concrete I have found the tread wore down faster than I'd like. If you're mostly hiking/trail running with these I doubt that would be a big issue. I'd also like them to be a touch wider but they aren't overly narrow. I would love to see more colour options, and maybe a version with a "city" tread. I'll definitely be picking up another pair when it's time to replace.

This is by far the best shoe I’ve ever had! Size was perfect, you can feel the quality and it looks good. I don’t think I’ll ever need to resort to any other shoe brand, Salomon has got what anyone could ever need in any shoe type. Thank you Salomon!

These trail runners are very comfortable and provide a great grip on rocky and even wet surfaces. The Goretex fabric keeps my feet dry in wet conditions and yet breathe to expel sweat. I love these shoes!

Increase the life span!

I love these shoes, but please increase there life span/ durability of the outer sole. I know they are a mud/trail only shoe, but sometimes to get to the trail you have to run on roads. This applies to all/most Speedcross shoes.
