I have a pair of speedcross 5s that I retired and they were a life saver. I had a high ankle sprain on my right, and these really helped me with my ankle stability and grip on rocks and slippery terrain. I now have the 6 and the goretex ones and for me they are perfect. I’ve done 25+ mile runs in them and I finish with happy feet, no blisters and no injuries. My feet are fairly normal to a little narrow, and i swear by solomon shoes.

For starters, I've been using Salomen for 7-9 years. I continue to buy their shoes. I've used this for trail running, hiking, construction work, and even office work early on. I like to run every time I'm moving, and the aggressive studs give a good grip feeling that you can squat down and grip when you take a turn super fast. The angle the shoes pitch you at make a comfortable and efficient gait very intuitive.

Perfect lightweight trail shoe which excels on loose wet surfaces. Mine mainly see rock gravel and mud. Fitment, comfort and grip are superb. My second pair, and I'll keep buying as long as Salomon keep making them.
