    The most comfortable shoes I've ever owned.

    I've owned the speedcross 4,5 and 6. I can't bring myself to throw the old worn ones away. They've got holes in them but are still very comfortable. I use the older ones for working and wade fishing the river. I will never wear another brand of shoe.

    I am outside the age range of the typical user. I am 73 and regularly walk about 5 miles on a gravel, rock and exposed root trail at a nearby National Park. I have purchased the shoe and its earlier version for several years. It fits my foot perfectly. They have not required any break-in period. And the cushioning is far superior to any other shoes I've tried. I love them and will not buy any other.

    I've been buying the Salomon brand exclusively for years. I spend my time between the desert (with loose gravel trails) and the mountains (with uneven trail terrain) and the grip on the soles and the arch support keeps me coming back.

    I love the versatility of this shoe. I am an avid trail walker and disc golf player. I have purchased the SpeedCross three times and will again. The shoe grips while I rip drives and bang discs into the basket.
