Excellent Hiking Boot

This is my third boot from Salomon and they just get better. I put a lot of rough miles in rugged off trail terrain and they hold up very well. Waterproof is mandatory and they do that well also.

Love the X Ultra 4 mid boots. Comfortable from day one. Always dry even on the wettest days on the trail. Arch support is amazing. Used on the TMB and never had any arch pain.

Had these over a year now and they still feel fresh inside every time I slide my feet in! Comfortable after a few hours in them and feet aren’t yelling at me for the hike to end! Highly recommend!

I detail airplanes on the side and needed a good waterproof work shoe to withstand the wet environment. these worked extremely well and the ortholite insole provided me comfort all throughout the day. keep in mind, these are not anti-slip shoes, so i had to be extremely careful when walking on the wet hanger floor. only because the hanger floors are very smooth surfaces. bust i suppose if wearing these out in the canyons or trails and you were to walk across wet rock, the outsole would grip to wet rock better than a wet airplane hanger floor.

I bought my first pair for a Hike trip and they were so comfortable I bought the same pair in all black for work. There’s always light random showers in Miami and the Goretex comes in clutch!

Definitely durable. I wore the tread off these boots. Eventually, the Gore-Tex broke down, but it was expected with as much use as they had.

Love these boots

This is my second pair of this model after several years of hiking with the first pair. Waterproof, breathable, light weight and good traction. I find them useful for all seasons. Only con might be a thinner sole but still very supportive.
