I’ve only run 34K in the WINTER CROSS SPIKE across four runs, but these have already been a game changer for me. Living in a place with heavy snow, rain, and ice, my winter running routine has typically involved the treadmill, only running on streets when conditions were clear. The risk of slipping on ice kept me off the roads—until now. I’ve been eyeing these spikes for years, but every time I almost bought them, they’d sell out. This year, I finally pulled the trigger when the 2024 version came out, and I'm so glad I did. The grip is incredible, even on slush and random ice. Today, after a heavy snowfall that covered the slush and ice, the traction was amazing. That said, there’s still a small chance of slipping—just like with studded tires, they do have limits. But for the most part, I feel safe and confident running on winter trails. They're comfortable, true to size, and keep my feet warm and dry. My only challenge now is getting in and out of my house without damaging my wooden deck and steps!

Very comfortable as soon as you slip your feet in. The gaiter is high enough and it's soft and moves with you. The carbide spikes provide increased grip and it gives me confidence. The lugs are also pretty good on snowy surfaces.

This is my fourth pair of spike cross shoes. I live in Canmore Alberta. Our trails get extremely icy. No other winter shoes work as well.

Awesome running shoe. Perfect for wet slippery surfaces I use in mountain running condition trail running especially when weather it wet Shoes are waterproof too. And I use in winter weather when trail is frozen. It’s a great shoe to have during specific conditions. Highly recommended

These shoes are a must in the winter if you are an outdoor, all year runner. In the winter where snow and freezing and thawing makes the trail uneven, icy and slippery one feels as surefooted as can be in these shoes. They are water and windproof and keep your feet warm and dry. On tops of that they are great running shoes. I could not be happier with them.
