Not only very comfortable but a great hiking shoe, I love to take those off roads and really test the waterproof aspect and they work great couldn't recommend them more.

These fit really nice and comfortable out of the box. I wear them for everyday use, not just hiking. Initially the fit was a little small compared with all my previous Salomon shoes but seem to be breaking in nicely. If you’ve been wearing low-cut hikers, I recommend these.

Comfortable But Goretex Lacking

One of my favorites from Salomon as of recently. Great multipurpose sneaker. Only gripe is the Goretex seems to wear off relatively fast. Leather material could be the cause so I’d go with a synthetic gortex upper for water proof longevity

different fit - wider and slightly shorter

I bought it because of good reviews and decided to return because of the different fit. Usually I wear men's 11.5 US size and it was slightly on the smaller side - length-wise. I feel it is wider than Ultra 3 GTX and Elixir Tour. I did not wear it outside, but the general feeling is that the sole is more rubbery and more sensitive underneath in the front area. Quality at the first glance was good, but the heel padding was thicker, more like MOAB-style.

Great Hiking Shoe

I bought these for my trip to Oregon in the spring . Most of my hikes were really wet and middle. These shoes did great especially with the GORTEX. Sturdy, comfortable, and reliable.
