    I bought this for my husband. He has been using it for a few days, and he is impressed with how comfortable they are, even if they don't look like it on the outside they're. The material is great, very resistant, and great for this winter weather.

    The shoe is very comfortable and lightweight, especially on trails. Sizing wise, I personally sized up since my feet are a bit wide and glad I did. So far, no issues with the shoes and I plan to take it onto more trails :) Would recommend!

    These are extremely comfortable and conform to my feet with no problems. They have great grip even on slippery rocks. My only complaint is that the laces come undone very easily and I find myself having to re-tie them way more often than I would hope.

    I spent a lot of time debating between the X ultra 4 GTX and the new version. After trying them on several times I’m really glad I purchased the X ultra 5’s. The upgrades in the new version really make a difference and improvement to an already great pair of boots. Most notably the additional padding around the ankles and the support changes around the middle of the boot make these significantly more comfortable. Additionally the stability of the outsole and GTX lining ensure better traction for various terrain and confidence in the boot for any conditions. Overall I’ve been extremely pleased with my purchase and the performance of these great boots!

    The X Ultra 5s are great for long hikes in dry weather or wet. As a product tester for magazines, Salomon’s are my go to hikers and shoes. You just can’t go wrong for comfort, durability, and getting your money’s worth.
