    An excellent all mountain ski!

These skis are awesome! They are super snappy and playful on the groomers. They hold a great edge for some nice carve turns and off piste they are excellent in the fresh and chop. A superbly capable ski and after a full season on them I definitely recommend!

This ski seems really popular with demo/rental shops, which honestly made me feel like it would be too playful for a 235lb aggressive skier. I live in CO ski 30-50 days a season. I have an 87mm(13m radius) carving ski, a 106mm western all mountain(21m radius) and a 116mm pure powder ski(25m radius). I needed a pair of skis that I could take on a 4+ days travel ski trip with varied conditions throughout the week and would be acceptable or better in all situations. This ski does that and more, just got back from a 5 ski days in Europe with a 6" powder day followed my chalky groomed snow followed by hard-pack icy snow: this ski was the ticket. When I was mounting the bindings I was happy to see a substantial metal sheet under foot. The 18m radius combined with the Rocker/chamber/rocker profile make this ski a joy to carve on piste. The wide shovel stays high in the soft stuff and I would be happy to choose this ski out on a 10" or less day and have no hesitation. Perhaps this ski wouldn't excel in crud (at least at the 189 length), but it would be acceptable

    Yes, I recommend this product.

I have had these skis out twice now. First day was on hard pack snow. In these conditions the skies were not terribly enjoyable, they are just too wide to perform well in these conditions. Still, they were skiable. The second day was in soft crud with a couple of powder turns on the edges. In these conditions the skis are terrific. They arc wonderfully in this soft type of snow and allow variety of turn shapes to be enjoyed. When I was able to find 1-2 turns in powder the skis felt very floaty. I look forward to getting them out on more fresh snow days. Some reviews mentioned that these skis felt shorter than their length. I have the 189 length and for me they don't feel like they are skiing like a 185 by any means. I am 5'10'' and an adept skier, I wanted the longer length for its advantages in powder and my preference for making longer turns. If you are someone that wants to keep your turns shorter I would not size up on this ski.

Picked this pair up with the new Strive bindings and permanent wax. I had been eyeing the Blanks but they don’t make them short. Have been skiing Black Crows Camox for past few seasons with similar width (97) so QST 98s seemed like a good comp. Spent the past week skiing these in Utah. Much stiffer, so they like to go fast! Really feeling how much more stable this is at speed. Definitely a solid one quiver option. Seeing a lot of these at the lifts so join the club!

This is my Swiss knife skis. When I travel, I know that if I bring my QST i wont have to worry about not having the correct skis. They are as good on grromers than in deep powder

I'm a former ski instructor and coach in my late 40s. I mainly used the QST98 during our father & son ski trip in Revelstoke and with our family ski vacation in Lake Louise & Sunshine. Both of my kids are racers (U16) experienced and fast skiers but with such a lively playful versatile weapon I could easily keep up with them and still have the energy to keep going at the end of the day no matter the challenging terrain they typically love to tackle. The geometry of the tips feels a bit weird when you look at it but once you are skiing the QST98 you simply believe you are on a traditional ski. I also did not expect that much floatability with a 98 under the foot as I'm a 200 pounds aggressive skier and no matter the amount of powder we got I never once wonder if I could go wider and in prime: so easy to maneuver in the woods! The perfect all around.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

I love how much fun the QST 98 is to ski! It's a ski that makes any day on the mountain an awesome time with how playful and energetic the ski is. Whether your cruising groomer, hitting the park, smashing bumps or searching the trees, this ski is fun, poppy and expressive at all times. If I don't know what the conditions are going to be like on the mountain, I'll grab the QST 98 and know that I'll have fun no matter what I find.

    Yes, I recommend this product.
