    Product Details

The Strive 14 features an ultra low-profile toe piece which creates a low center of gravity. This enhances a skier’s power, control, and response due to enhanced sensitivity. The binding lets the characteristics of the ski and slope excel, creating better day on skis.

    • Responsiveness & Control: An unrivaled 47mm of elasticity builds confidence and security at speed. The low-profile toe piece creates a low center of gravity, providing an unmatched on-snow feel.

    • Power & Stability: A wide (72mm) AFD pad, gives skiers extra contact between boot and binding. This adds stability and increases power transfer from binding to ski.

    • Ski & Binding Integration: A low center of gravity creates unmatched ski-to-snow connectivity. Enhanced sensitivity equals quicker reaction, heightened control, and a better day on skis.

    • Automatic Wing & Toe adjustment: No adjustments needed to adapt the wings and toe-height to your boots. Just step-in and ski!

    • LDN Toe: This revolutionary toe piece boasts an ultra-low center of gravity highlighted by an extra-wide pedal and neutral stance, so skiers can feel the pure sensations of all terrain.

    • Extra-wide Toe pedal (<gt/>60mm): A super-wide pedal that ensures the best lateral power transmission from skier to ski. Designed for intense freeskiing, perfect stability and enhanced confidence.

    AFD Plate Problems

I love the design but not the function. I have two pairs of Salomon Strive 14 on two pairs of skis. One replaced my Strive 12 on my ‘24 Stance 90 because the AFD plate would stick out of both skis and not retract. It was not once in a while, it was every time I skied. The local shop replaced the Strive 12 with Strive 14 hoping to fix the issue. It did not. If I ski anything other than powder with either set of skis the AFD plate sticks out and does not retract. It is worse on icy groomers or anything that develops a vibration. I even switched my sole from GW to flat as my daughter has the Strive 12 on her Stance 88 with a flat sole and has not had the problem, but she weighs less than 100 lbs. It did not solve the problem. I can’t recommend them to anyone over 100 lbs as this is a safety concern. I am looking to replace them with different bindings altogether which is very unfortunate because I really like the design otherwise.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Durable and easy in easy off. Tough to get brakes apart is the only negative, but the stay locked together when toting on shoulder…so a draw.

    Yes, I recommend this product.
