Great waterproof, lightweight hiker/running shoe
16 days ago
This is my second pair of the Speedcross. I had to go up half a size, so not sure if the sizing is different or my others fit differently. I like to add an orthodic, so I generally size up half a size. I love them for their their comfort and stability and the fact they are waterproof. I walk my dog 2-3 times a day and hike by rivers and need something lightweight and waterproof. The quick-lacing is convenient and I also love the grip on the sole, never slip! Plus they look great!
Yes, I recommend this product.

These are the 2nd paid of speedcross shoes that I have purchased. Amazing shoe! We hiked Rocky Mtn state park, Arches, Canyon Lands, and Mt Zion. Would not have been able to climb and navigate without these shoes

Love these shoes

This is the fourth pair of salomon shoes I have purchased. The size is always true ans fit perfectly. The only thing I have an issue with is how quickly the tread wears down. Other than that I will buy these shoes over and over again.
Yes, I recommend this product.

GOAT

These are simply the best trail runners out there. This must be my 10th pair. I have a narrow, low volume foot and these are awesome. They hug my scrawny feet with the lacing system, which makes me feel secure over uneven surfaces. The grips on the bottom are great even on ice and snow. I wish they had more of the super bright colorways!
Yes, I recommend this product.

Great grip

Very impressed with traction. Very comfortable. I always buy Salomon’s 1/2 size smalller for good fit. Know I know why my hiking buddies also use Speedcross.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Great shoe
I bought these as a hiking shoe, because I prefer lighter shoes than a heavier boot. I was a little worried when I initially ordered these because I prefer a wider toe box even though my feet aren’t super wide. My toes just like to spread out especially after a few hours of hiking. It’s been a little while since I bought any Solomon shoes, so I was interested to see how it work out. So they are pretty comfortable right out of the box. The width across the toes, while not generous, is adequate. No rubbing of my pinky toe. I love the stability in the heel especially on uneven surfaces and downhills. The traction is awesome on these, almost like a rubbery, sticky cleat. The Gortex upper kept my feet dry in long wet grass, but gets a bit hot if it’s a warm day. Overall, I’m pleased with these. They’ll get lots of wear on day hikes, especially in the fall when it’s cooler and the foliage is bursting.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Awesome shoe

I have been buying this shoe for the last 10 years at least. Great fit for me...I have high arches, narrow heel. This shoe reminds me of the fit of spikes that I wore in track in Jr High School. Great comfort, wears well.
Yes, I recommend this product.
