Salomon is the best walking/hiking shoes

This shoe is affordable and super comfortable. I will admit Salomon did change up their sizes over the years as I used to be a 9 but now fit in 8.5. So perhaps try on both and see which one is the best fit. I only wear Salomon for hiking and running and have the Speed cross trail runners that are amazing too.

I bought these sneakers a month ago, and I am very satisfied. I am a very active person and I do various sports, I can say that they fulfill all my needs. They are comfortable and flexible and at the same time give a feeling of security in any activity I do

This is my second pair of Salomon hikers & I will only buy this brand now, I walk 10 K a day I find these lasted longer & are very comfortable. Worth the cost

A sleek design with an unusual fit

Straight out of the box, I was impressed by how good these look. They have a very sleek design and are remarkably lightweight. I didn't get a chance to test the waterproofing but they look solid.
Unfortunately, I found the fit a bit bizarre. They're slightly narrow, which isn't terrible and does offer some side stability. But what felt off to me was how "straight" they felt - like they didn't accommodate the curves of the foot very much. I also found the toe box quite small. While I understand a certain amount of squeeze is necessary in a hiking shoe without ankle support, I still like to have some toe room. I thought perhaps I might've sized too small, but I had ample space in the heel cup. With the top laces done up I found the level of support to be rather average.
I wish I could've loved these since they're gorgeous and fantastic Salomon quality, but they just don't give me what I need. They might work for a narrower, straighter foot than mine.

DO NOT BUY

The worst running shoe I’ve ever bought. The more you wear it it’s like the shoe completely stretches out and becomes unwearable. The shoe is so shallow your foot doesn’t even want to to stay in the shoe. Do not buy these. I tried to bring them back because they’re clearly defective and they said wow that’s unfortunate and that seems like something is wrong but since it was worn outside we can’t do anything. Massive waste of money
No, I do not recommend this product.
