Couldn't find how to edit my previous review, so decided to write an update. The shoes turned out to be pretty good, just needed to break them in. They still feel very long, but smaller size would be less comfortable when walking downhill on rocks. So this flippers' look and feel seems to be the price worth paying for the comfort on descends. Have to be extra cautious not to trip, though.

Boots are completely unwearable

These boots are both too long and too narrow at the same time. I chose the size according to the size chart, but the boots turned out to have several centimeters of excess length in front of my first three toes, while my fourth and fifth toes are pressed against the side of the boot. This excessive space in front of the first three toes is hazardous because it causes me to trip. At the same time, the boots hurt my little toes badly, even though my feet are of regular width. A smaller size is not an option because of the width, while the suggested size has excessive, unusable length in front of my first three toes. This makes the boots completely unwearable.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Great light weight hiker!

Purchased these a few months ago. I have been a dedicated Salomon customer for many years now. I love the ease of Salomon & being able to wear the shoe right out of the box! The only reason that I didn't give this shoe a 5 star rating is because I do wish they had a little bit more cushion on the bottom for rocky terrain. Overall I would recommend this hikers.

I wanted to love these lightweight hikers

I bought the Ultra 360's as a replacement for a wornout pair of Ultra 5 boots that have treated my feet well. I was looking for a lightweight boot with good ankle support and find these deliver on both requirements for SE Arizona hiking. For me, the downside is the outsole. Despite the mixed terrain description, I'm feeling like the Ultra 360's outsole isn't constructed with enough cushion for the typical mixed/rocky trails here. The soles of my feet have been sore after each use, something I hadn't experienced with my Ultra 5's. These boots also required some break in to improve flexibility, but they feel good now from a fit perspective. The laces seem a bit short and they do need to be double knotted to keep them securely tied. Overall, the 360's are a decent boot that I'll likely relegate to use for softer terrain.

So happy with these hiking boots. The tread is like tire tread so I'm not slipping anymore and steep descents and they're extremely comfortable, no issues wearing them in. Very happy with this purchase.

Bought these to replace my old Salomon hikers. Comfortable right out of the box, no break-in time needed. This model fit true to size for me. They feel more lightweight than my old boots, so not so sure they will be as durable.

Great quality hiking shoes but a bit wide.

Great quality hiking shoes but a bit wide. I have wide feet and find the fit a bit wide though. Nevertheless, these shoes are comfortable, light and made of quality materials. They are great to hike in Ontario in easy and medium challenge terrains during warm weather. I particularly like the mid cut style as it prevents insects and soil from getting inside the shoe. I just got them and got a chance to wear them only once so far. In the future, I'll be wearing them with thicker socks next time to compensate for the wide fit.
