No Blisters

I did not get a chance to wear these in wet conditions so I cannot comment on their waterproofness. I wore them for the first time on a 20 km hike with 3000 foot ascent on mixed terrain and did not get blisters despite my heal having up/down movement in the shoe. I bought size 11 and found them to be very bulky and too wide but I do have a narrow foot. I’m not sure if I am a fan of the laces, I felt like I couldn’t get a tight fit and I prefer traditional laces because I can utilize different lacing techniques to get a better fit for my foot shape. Also, the laces had too much length for me and stuck past the front of the toe. I wouldn’t buy these again. It’s probably a good fit for someone with a high arch and wide foot.

Good Waterproof Shoe for Walking

These shoes fit true to size in length. I wear a 7 in running shoes, and size 7 has enough space at the tip of the shoe. I wish it had a little more room in width. It's not too tight but the extra room would make thick socks more comfortable. I have narrow heels and ankles so the back of the shoe is a little loose. There is good cushioning around the ankle. Even though it's a low cut shoe, it's high enough that it still gives good support when walking. The quick-laces make the shoes easy to put on, take off, and make adjustments. I have worn the shoes in light rain and they kept my feet dry. The shoes appear well made and feel sturdy, but still lightweight. I purchased these shoes mostly for walking in wet weather in the city. I have yet to try them on trails, though I think they would perform well as the grip seems good.

Quality shoe - tricky fit

This is a good quality, more rigid structure shoe, great for walking and lighter hiking. I struggled with getting the right fit and finally after two online purchases and returns, I got the right size. I used the sizing guide which said I should order a 9.5 but the 9.5 and the 9 were both too big. The 8.5 is good, and I should have ignored the sizing guide and got that size from the start because I’m typically an 8.5-9 in other shoes. I would like to see some better shaping in the structure of the shoe so that it hugs and tightens around my foot better as I’m still feeling a bit of movement around the heel which on a longer walk our hike I imagine would give me blisters. But so far so good with a thick sock. I love the waterproof shoes - feet feel nice and warm and dry.
