Not quite satisfied

Review after approx. 10 hikes
The sizing is slightly inaccurate. These shoes are also not very comfortable in terms of cushioning. I'm disappointed because I expected more from my first pair of Salomon hiking boots.

Great boot

This is a second pair of these shoes. A little bit different model. They are unbelievable on steep terrain. I have a very steep bank I need to weedwack and I don’t slip at all on it. They fit very well. I have a narrow foot and they fit perfect. Would recommend this boot 100%

Comfort and style

Impressed by how comfortable these shoes were for my hikes in Sri Lanka. They wore in easily and are supportive to my ankles. The grip on them gave me confidence especially in steep inclines and going down hill! Plus they look great, love them!

Best pair of boots

This is by second pair, they are lightweight comfortable and waterproof - great boots. Wore the other pair out, that is only because I hike a lot. The other pair are still usable so I use them for gardening, have worn away a lot of the grip and there are holes in the goretex from wearpoints so they are not weatherproof, this is after many years though.

My muddy day shoe

They are as light as a trailrunner, but keep ot the mud and puddle water. I wear Altras, so prefer wide, and while these are not totally splayed-out-wide-barefoot style, there is plenty of room for my feet and my Injinji toe socks in there.
I have used these in steep, scrabble alpine conditions, and hiking on simple snow patches. Great for both. We hike every weekend and backpack in summer, and I get about 3 years of good hiking use, then a few more as garden boots.

Narrow feet only

If you have broad feet forget it, get another brand. Seem to be good quality but super narrow.
