    Great Goretex shoes

Lightweight and confortable. Not as good as the Switchbacks that Saucony stopped doing for an unknown reason, but they are good.

They’re warm, comfy and solid/stable. Not necessarily light but certainly not heavy- and I’m not wearing them to go fast in cold slush- they’re helping me do the hard work over the winter so I can fly at Boston this Spring! Also the rock shield was bombproof over the VT100’s sharp gravel. Great shoes. :)

For me, Peregrine can't be beat for comfort and traction on trails. Have worn other Saucony trail runners but always come back to these. Gortex is a must year round in my mind too.

    super shoe

Excellent updated shoe. My earlier favorites were the Xodos Ultras, but either my foot grew weirdly or the toebox was narrowed in the latest version. Happily, the Peregrine has kept the classic Saucony toebox, and firmed up under foot to make a really fine trail shoe. Traction is impressive, padding sufficient, and both the goretex and non-goretex models perform well on wet and dry footing. The goretex model seems slightly burlier and is my new favorite. These shoes are great.

    Comfortable Trail Shoe

Wearing these for over a month now and I love them. They are some of the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn in the field. Great for outdoors.

    Super grip and comfort

I’m very pleased with this shoe. Extremely comfortable in the heel and solid grip are the two biggest standouts for me. Shoe feels light and I’ve been wearing Peregrines for many years now.

Good in the cold and snow but don't have any zip

I needed a pair of winter runners and long for the days of the endorphin with runshield. Those were awesome winner runners. The Peregrine with gtx arrived just in time for the first slushy wet snow and then a major cold snap. They worked great at keeping my feet warm and dry. Big slushy puddles, no problem. Cold wind at -5C, nice and toasty. If only they had some pop to them. It's like running in shoes that you have already worn out. They feel flat and slow.
