Pay no mind, run like it’s 1989. The Shadow 5000 is a prime example of innovation at the highest level, at least when we talk about its initial release. Now making strides in the lifestyle space, it’s become the perfect companion piece -- essential colors, classic cream an doff-white logos, hits of grey, classic mesh and suede, and the iconic XT-600 outsole. Solid.

I liked them
I’ve tried on my sneakers and I like them; they’re comfortable, and since I’m a size 9.5, they fit perfectly. I hope they last me a good while.

I was hesitant on the color way until they were delivered, but I was pleasantly surprised at how good they looked & how comfortable they are.

Run SMALL

The design is always fire and clean, which is why I’ve been buying the Shadow 5000 for over 4 years. However, over the past year or two, I’ve noticed the fit has gotten noticeably narrower.
It feels like the Shadow 5000 has started taking on the shape of the 6000, especially with that narrow, hard triangle-shaped heel. Unfortunately, it changes the fit and makes the shoe less comfortable than the original design.
Please consider bringing back the original Shadow 5000 shape, or at least updating the size chart to account for the narrower fit. I love the Shadow 5000 and want to keep buying them — I just need the original fit back!

True to size!
I ordered the cadet colorway in two sizes—9 and 9.5. I ordered two sizes because of the many review stating that this style runs small. For my feet, the 9 was true to size, and I usually wear size 9D womens (wide!). That said the Shadow 5000 in the cadet color way is beautiful and totally comfortable!
