Saucony shoes have been a reliable choice for me in demanding situations for many decades, but this is my first pair in probably 20 years.
My favorite thing about them in the past was the generous toe box.

Wrong sizing

I love Saucony. I have several pairs, but the pair that I bpught directly from the company were a disappointment. All of my pairs are thensame size and fit perfectly. The pair I was sent was definitely not Wide, even though it said it was. I’ll go back to searching for retailers.

This pair of Saucony's is my fifth, and there are several reasons why I go back to this brand: 1) comfortable, secure heel fit for narrow heels, 2) slightly wider fit with ample room in the toe box, 3) a last (shape of the sole) that seems to fit the shape of my foot well, 4) more rugged construction for country roads and trails where I live, and 5) they are a great-looking shoe!
I have waterproof Saucony's as well, which I love, but didn't need that feature this time. Although I find the toe box ample, I do wish that the shape was less pointed, like my waterproof ones. It's not only Saucony's but other brands as well. Due to this, I buy a half size up to accommodate my big toe!
