    Functional but small

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set of three carabiners seems well made and are fit for purpose from a functional perspective. However, I did y pay attention to the size when I got them - they are small (smaller than the other Seatosummit carabiners), which probably explains the price point. You might be better off getting the bigger ones to hang something like a dry bag.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfectly sized carabiners for attaching things to the outside of your pack. The gate mechanism is solid and doesn’t catch on things. It’s hard to find carabiners as quality as this at such a small size, so I’m glad for these.

I got these carabiners as lightweight and small accessory hooks for a 2023 AT thru hike. I very quickly figured out just how useless they are. The simplicity would be unmatched with just a few small design tweaks. The biggest issue is that the rest point when the wire gate is closed is hook shaped. That means these grab hold of literally anything when you attempt to remove them. That combined with the small size makes it difficult to maneuver and detach them with a single hand under pressure. Now you might be thinking this is somehow a good thing because the chance of unintended detachment is therefore quite low. Think again. The other issue is that when the gate is opened just enough to pass the hook shaped rest point, it can be very easily misaligned, spring outward, and fall off completely. This happened on trail for me, though thankfully I didn't lose anything. For future hikes, I've already switched these out for some other carabiners with a smooth angular resting surface and solid gates, rather than the loose fitting wire. While these serve no real purpose, they are at least neat to look at but not worth that price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great little carabiners! I use them primarily to help strap my camera to me while hiking and backpacking. They are very strong and durable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This replacement buckle was a huge improvement over the flimsy original on my Chaco waist pack. It's much sturdier and was easy to install. The price was reasonable, too.
