They have their niche.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As an expedition style kayak camper i found these incredibly usefull for soft collapsible items like clothes, pillows, and blankets because you can get much more air out giving a longer survical rate without musty mildew odors creeping in your gear because of trapped air. They conform really tight taking up less space in my kakay vs the traditional heavy duty bags. I found these to be a win in my quest for space, weight, and functionality.

Lightweight Dry Sacks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These bags are not for me. My nephew is graduating from Special Forces Training in June. I am going to his graduation in June, in North Carolina. I asked him if there was anything I could get him and he mentioned these bags. I decided to get him several different sizes. I am sure they will be put to good use, in his career as a team player in the United States Army, Special Forces.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had dry bags from Sea to Summit in the past and was impressed by the quality, but these new bags just feel cheap. Also, one of the buckles was already broken when I received it. Guess we'll see how they hold up over time...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fabric is just the right strength and thickness for the job. The clasp is crisp. The color is vibrant. I haven't really put mine to the test in all the elements yet, but I know from experience with years of dry sacks that this will do admirably when properly used and secured.

I can still use it but it opens up after adjusting things in my pack which is annoying.
