Best purchase ever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got into bike packing and purchased a competitor (BA) sleep pad about 18 months ago. On bike pack trip #5, it deflated and I slept on the ground which was miserable. After careful inspection once home, I was unable to repair it so I sent it back to the competitor (BA) of which they said they were 4-6 weeks behind on repairs. I had a few more trips planned so not having a sleep pad was not an option. SO! This led me down the road to my purchase of a Sea to Summit sleep pad. I can say without a doubt, it's SO LIGHT, takes 3 full air bags to fill it so it's very speedy, it's so comfy, not loud, warm and it fits my body so much better than the competitor (BA). This is a very long winded way to saying- Buy this sleep pad! You won't regret it. For what it's worth, the competitor (BA) did finally contact me 8 weeks later to say the sleep pad wasn't repairable but was under warranty and offered me a credit to be used on their website which was a win.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second purchase of this model of mattress. I used the first one lots and lots for several years, until eventually it was leaking too much air overnight. Perhaps all mattresses do that? I like the shape, though, and the R-rating is great; I wish this was not discontinued.

I just got this and haven't had a chance to use it properly but I have inflated it and tried it out and it is definitely pretty loud and doesn’t seem very durable. . I am skeptical on how this will hold up in the backcountry. So far I’m not as pleased as I thought I’d be.

Leak on first trip

Disappointed.
- Hole - Bought this year and took on the JMT this summer. The pad only made it about 15 days before a hole developed. I was cautious and even had a closed foam pad underneath (both in attempts to prevent a hole and for heat because temps were as low as 20F during the trip). For an $160 pad I expected better quality and durability. I have an old Nemo pad which was significantly cheaper and I held up for over 8 years, will likely go back to that company.
- Noise is present but not horrible 3/5
- Does inflate quick and easily with the pump sac.
- Kept me warm up to about 45 degrees. (Was NOT warm enough once temps dropped below 40s)
- Sizing: 5'4" and the 66 in was a perfect length

Small, comfy, easy to inflate and pack down. Inflating it with the provided sack took me a little bit to figure out, but that could’ve been user error. I got the regular size and it was a little on the short side, but I thought it worked great!
