This is the paddle for 3.0-4.0 players.

This was my first "professional grade" paddle. Pros: ~even elongated it feels nimble and quick at the NVZ ~Because its elongated I esp cially notice the reach it offers when extending for balls slightly out of reach. ~after 40 hours of use I don't notice any deterioration on the face grit. ~it has enough grit to put some serious junk on back hand chops, two handed topspin backhands, and regular forehands. ~ handle is long enough for consistent grips on twoeys ~no sign of deterioration after 40 hours aside from the expected protective plastic perimiter where it has hit the ground. Cons ~ sweet spot is surprisingly small for a paddle that claims a large sweet spot, the top inch of the paddle is very muted on dinks and resets. ~ resets off of hard shots are not guaranteed to pop back over the net just from putting it in the way of the ball, sometimes you have to add a little swing to it. Once you learn it's pop it becomes more than manageable. I used a cheaper gen 3 Luzz paddle and it outperformed in my opinion at the NVZ. ~ weird sweet spot aside, making contact outside of the sweet spot is forgiving albeit less poppy. Twist rate is a non issue due to the balancing weights and I never feel like the paddle will torque sideways if I hit the ball on the edge of the face. (I guess this is a pro technically) Power is not tremendous but that makes it kind of forgiving. On misshit serves or drives it isn't necessarily going to go skyrocketing Out of bounds. But it has more than enough power/pop to blur anyone's vision. Put aways are no problem. Overall this paddle excells in precision and accuracy. When I make clean contact, the ball goes exactly where I want to. It has more than enough spin when struck properly. Back hand chops frequently bounce back and topspin drives/serves consistently check upward. I can hit a serve 3-4 feet over the net on a serve and it will still seek the ground in bounds due to its spin capabilities. It feels a little muted sometimes but that muted feeling has saved me more than it has hindered me. As a 3.5-4.0 player this paddle ticks all the boxes. As I develop my skill however I will want something with the same spin and more power. This paddle is the perfect transition paddle to use when advancing from low intermediate player to advanced intermediate. Anyone higher than this skill range with a firm grip on the fundamentals will likely seek more pop and power out of their paddle. Well worth the $220 after 40 hours of play.

Grip nightmare

I really struggled at first with the grip. This is my 4th paddle and I’ve played tennis for 52 years and never experienced not being able to grip the handle while playing and know where the paddle face was. It was a nightmare! I replaced the grip with a hexigrip and now am really liking it! Has power and touch. I’m noticing I’m hitting less out balls but still have power. I’m relieved that it’s working now!

Yes, I recommend this product.
