Shimano CN-HG54 10 Speed Chain

Just as expected, and shipping seemed quick. Chain was what I needed to repair a bike.

I replaced the chain on my road bike. It had an ultegra chain. This is fantastic value. It fit my ultegra crankset perfectly. It shifts great and feels great. Make sure you replace your chain sooner to save the rest of your drivetrain.

I ordered this chain, but I was sent a different chain. There is a good likelihood that you will too.. The chain I received had a price sticker saying CN- HG54, but the box said CN-M6100 and the etching on the chain did also. The two chains are not substitutable. One is 10 speed, the other a 12 speed intended for Mountain Bikes I was able to get a refund from the local store for the price of the product, but have not been refunded the delivery cost. I attempted to contact online support by email and received a reply that they could not respond by email. I phoned the customer service phone number and kept getting dropped. I had the bright idea that I could exchange the product I received at a store that had the chain I wanted. The Store I phoned checked their stock and they found that the same error had been made on their chain. So there appears to be a systematic problem with Sportchek inventory of this item. I would not buy this online unless you can confirm with a local store that in fact this item will be the HG-54.
